BIGGER. BETTER. BADDER. SINGLE AND MUSIC VIDEO LAUNCH AND TOUR

It’s been yet another big year for The Deep End. The band continued building their nation wide fan base with their ‘no holds barred’ live shows up and down the East Coast. All their hard work has accumulated to the next few months….

Judging by their most recent performance to a packed out Espy Gershwin Room, the barnstorming pub rock quintet demand attention with every second on stage through blitzing guitars, a punch-in-the-face rhythm section and soaring vocals. The spotlight struggled to keep up with the band as they ran across the stage, feeding their energy to the crowd who responded during every song.

Often described as the bastard child of AC/DC and Guns n’ Roses, The Deep End are the pinnacle of the underground Melbourne rock n’ roll scene as it stands. Although likened to their pub rock counterparts, The Deep End have continued to evolve through their EP releases over the years, creating their own sound that has that certain edge that grabs you by the back of the head and leaves you screaming for more.

The coming months will see the biggest steps The Deep End have taken in recent years, and their hard work is being rewarded with two shows supporting NZ rock n’ roll heavyweights The Datsuns and Australia’s own Redcoats at the infamous Espy Front Bar, adding to their already impressive list of big name supports.

This however, is only the tip of the iceberg, as The Deep End will be releasing their debut full length album in February 2013, followed by a 20+ date tour of Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.
